The world of home-based early learning programs is nuanced and multi-faceted and for four years I had the pleasure of learning from and coaching family childcare providers. These early childhood professionals, unlike many other early learning leaders, are both entrepreneurs and educators. Each day is a balance of managing quality learning environments for children, engaging parents in the learning process, and monitoring small business activities.
